GREENleaders: Certified Sustainability Training by the Sustainable Furnishings Council (Modules 1 & 2)

Two modules of the most comprehensive training program available in green home furnishings are going to be made available as part of this Designers’ Wednesday. The full training provides designers with the credentials to become experts in sustainability.
For certification, the remaining modules will be available online for an additional $260. The online course allows you to log in to the course website, review individual course units, and take the unit exams at times of your choosing. It provides the flexibility that you need to be able to fit the training into your busy schedule.
Modules 1 & 2 covers sustainability and knowing green consumers. Modules 3 – 6 cover sourcing green products, selling green solutions, designing green interiors The Sustainable Furnishings Council is a non-profit balanced coalition of industry players founded at High Point, NC in October 2006 to promote sustainable practices among manufacturers, retailers and consumers alike.

The seminar is $35 for SFDC members; $45 for non-members and includes lunch. Arrive at the SFDC before 10:00 AM and receive free parking in the Galleria lot.
