First Impressions

Clarke & Clarke, distributed by Duralee in the US, has a brand new fabrics collection just introduced in the U.S. called Impressions!  This collection is full of contemporary, colorful prints with a retro feel. 

Impressions includes four patterns, each providing a choice of six different colorways ranging from muted shades of Blue, Taupe and Grey, through to fresh and punchy shades of Purple, Fuchsia and Lime.  Whilst the collection offers a subtle nod to the 1950′s, the patterns themselves remain very usable, both individually or coordinated and create a warm and lively space.

Groundworks Introduces New Collection from Kelly Wearstler

Los  Angeles interior designer and tastemaker Kelly Wearstler has introduced a new collection of vibrant and inspiring fabrics through Groundworks. In this second collaboration, Wearstler brings together her love for natural materials, graphic patterns and unique colors.

The fabrics are a curated mix of prints, wovens and embroideries that can transform an interior and inspire a mood. The collection features organic and textural designs that are elegant and dramatic, including a velvet tie dye design, raw silks in a range of Kelly’s favorite hues, and a delicate print based on the natural veining found in marble.

The line also features the bold graphic patterns that have become Kelly Wearstler signatures – a graphic diagonal stripe interpreted in sumptuous velvet, an abstracted animal print with an ikat influence, and a striking design of hand painted brushstrokes that crisscross dynamically across a linen ground cloth.

All are available in an inspiring color range that Kelly uses throughout her interior design and fashion projects – black and white, periwinkle blues, pistachio greens, smokey aubergines and corals, citrine yellow and warm charcoal greys and ivory.

Clarke & Clarke New Bukhara Fabric Collection

Clarke & Clarke (distributed by Duralee in the US), has a brand new fabrics collection that has just been introduced in the U.S. called Bukhara.  This collection has a very Ethnic yet current look and feel.  It’s beautiful!

Bukhara is a stunning collection of embroidered linens, coordinated stripes, jacquard and plain fabrics.  The inspiration comes from ancient Persia, where traditional ethnic patterns are combined with rich, bold colors, producing a very unique mix of fabrics for curtains, upholstery and decorative pieces.  Woven with linen and viscose, the quality is very fine and the drape soft and luxurious.  The wide choice of colors makes this collection suitable for both the traditional and contemporary home.
