Alexa Hampton for Kravet Collections

::NEW PICKS::

Kravet Inc
SFDC Galleria #120

The latest collection from Alexa Hampton, available exclusively in Kravet showrooms, offers up a range of prints and patterns inspired by the northeastern coastal landscape. Hampton designs what she loves, and the result is a collection that is versatile and casual, grounded by linens and textures in a cohesive and fresh color palette of coastal blue, jade and neutral.

The collection is anchored by beautiful patterns on linen, ranging from large statement prints like watercolor jacquard and tiger skin to small scale geometrics and florals. These patterns are lighthearted and high on style, and can be mixed in both formal and casual settings. Cottons, embroidery on linen and simple sheers round out a collection that will complement any décor style.

The launch also includes exclusive trims with clean, basic profiles, designed to add another dimension to the fabrics and coordinate with Hampton’s existing catalogue of fabric and trims.

This collection will be available in Kravet, Galleria #120 and online at www.kravet.com in late fall.

Barbara Barry and Kravet Introduce: Indochine

::SPOT LIGHT::

Kravet Inc
SFDC Galleria, #120

Fresh from a tour of the Orient, Barbara Barry has released an Asian-influenced collection that will be sold exclusively through Kravet. Called Indochine, the collection consists of fabrics, trimmings, carpet, drapery hardware and wall coverings inspired by the colors, textures and patterns of Asia.

For this collection, Barry translated her signature subdued color palette into new combinations based on the ancient colors of Asia: lotus and silver; lacquer and blanc de chine; gold and fig.

Balancing tonal and textural elements, Barry’s fabrics range from sheers and light linens and silks to rich wovens, damasks, chenilles and embroideries. Color influences like the lacquer doors of the Forbidden City and fabric details, intricate stitching and French knots add luxury and convey the rich aesthetic of the Asian culture.

Kravet Expands Tibetan Carpet Collection

::NEW PICKS::

Kravet Inc.
SFDC Galleria #120

Clockwise: Venetian Swirl/C - Marble, Taiko/C - Turquoise, Maiko/C - Sapphire, Debonair/C - Ruby

 Kravet has expanded its offering of both custom and in stock Tibetan carpet.

Kravet’s Tibetan custom carpet collection offers 11 new transitional designs in modern colors and styles. In addition to the traditional wool and silk combinations, Kravet’s Tibetan carpets are now available in wool and banana silk. Banana silk is made from the stalk of the banana tree and offers a similar sheen and texture to traditional silk for price conscious budgets.

For time sensitive projects, Kravet’s Tibetan in stock carpet collection offers 13 new designs. Many are inspired by some of their best selling fabric patterns and traditional African designs, which have been reinterpreted with a modern look and feel.

Tibetan carpets are all 100 knot count and woven in Nepal by Tibetan weavers. Every step of the process is executed by hand, from the dye to the weaving, by expert artisans. The result is an exceptional carpet that will last a lifetime.

The Tibetan Carpet Collection is the latest example of the quality and craftsmanship of Kravet Carpets. For more on this exclusive new collection, visit Kravet at 101 Henry Adams Street #120 or  www.kravet.com.
